How to create the perfect LinkedIn profile

Over the past few weeks, I have spent more and more time on LinkedIn, trying to improve and complete (if that is possible) my profile. I really like being able to use LinkedIn as a digital CV, although I do miss being able to edit the design of it. A few sprinkles of colour might make it a little more appealing. Well, that's my opinion.

Here's a great infographic on how to structure a perfect LinkedIn profile, courtesy of Quicksprout:

Sabine Kurz
I am Sabine Kurz, a freelance science writer and about-to-be Journalism graduate from Stirling, Scotland. I have been writing for a range of newspapers and magazines in Germany and Scotland - if you want to have a look at my work, click on Portfolio in the bar above.

I was born in Germany but as soon as I had finished school, I moved to the UK to study. Not only because this is the land of tea and queuing, but also because I wanted to broaden my horizon. Well, now that I have, I am planning to stay here.

As I will be graduating from the University of Stirling this spring, I am currently looking for a job in the creative industries. Should you know of any opportunities, let me know :)
(And that's the only smiley face I'll allow myself to put onto this site, after all, it's supposed to be professional.)

When I'm not writing or working, I love to read, visit the cinema, theatre or opera, glass paint, play the oboe and recorder (not at the same time) and cuddle with Darwin, my beautiful bunny rabbit.
I can also spend hours researching some random subject online (it's amazing how quickly time goes by when you're having fun).
